Orange Cake Torte
Orange Torte Cake (shared by Dui)
100 gr. (1/2 cup) of whole orange peel about 3-4 oranges
250 ml milk (1 cup) of milk
300 g (1¾ cups + 3 tbsp) of flour
3 eggs
100 ml (1/2 cup) of oil (canola or sunflower)
250 gr (7/8 of a cup) sugar
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Powdered Sugar
Heat oven at 350 F (175 C)
Place orange peel with milk in the mixer, mix until it is creamy.
Add flour, the eggs, oil, sugar and baking powder, mix well
Butter cake pan.
Cook at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Reduce heat to 320 degrees (160C)
and cook another 20-25 minutes
